The first part of the job was specifying and supplying the correct appliance. When it came to the ice making machine, Stewart’s Garden Centre chose a highly reliable and industry renowned brand in Maidaid – a name recognised for its quality and reliability.
To go that extra mile for the quality of their ice and water, they also purchased a BWT water filter specified by Alecta Technical Solutions, which actively works to remove impurities such as calcium to produce as clean ice as possible. With the client having purchased these items from the Alecta store, our engineers were able to bring the appliances straight to the installation, streamlining the process. We were booked in with this efficiency in mind – and were able to uphold our reputation, completing the installation with minimal fuss to avoid impacting the client’s services.
The installation took place during the Stewart’s Garden Centre service hours, which meant our engineers had to be as tidy, efficient and quiet as possible, causing minimal disruption to the day’s service. This was a challenging task, as we had to re-route the original plumbing system to provide the water for the machinery, whilst also connecting the wastage pipes too.
To facilitate these pipes we had to drill holes into the worktop, which meant some disruption was inevitable – but the client was happy as long as this was done quickly and with minimal mess.
